This board position is entrusted with the very important mission to serve as a community leader and spokesperson for HLP on all feminist issues and history of misogyny. The Cis Woman Rep is also expected to implement and improve education for the public, gay, and bisexual communities to bring awareness of the common misogynistic conversations that often go unrecognized. This board member is also expected to organize social and educational events that improve relevance and visibility of the lesbian community. The Cis Woman Rep is expected to cultivate relations with other organizations that promote women's' rights to further public awareness through joint community efforts. This board member is expected to guide all HLP education and visibility to ensure inclusion of women is always represented and made to feel welcomed.
