Rubber Representative – Rubber Rep

Qualifications:

Although HLP will not establish an age requirement for this Trustee, the person interested in this board office must demonstrate a significant knowledge in the culture represented by this Identity Group. A qualified person must have experience attending 15 or more culturally relevant public events or functions where there was some type of active participation or learned experience, other than HLP events, and has a significant investment in their self-expression of this culture.

Expectations:

This board position is expected to contribute their knowledge and experience of Rubber Culture to the continued development and improvement of education and public awareness campaigns produced by HLP. The Rubber Rep is expected to organize workshops and demonstrations where attendees can learn about selecting and caring for rubber clothing and other rubber accessories that has become synonymous with the culture and activities. The Rubber Rep is also expected to help develop education for group discussions on topics where rubber helps improve self body image and sexual attractiveness. This board member is expected to provide mentorship to those beginning their journey into rubber culture and the positive influence to ones self-worth. The Rubber Rep is also expected to organize social and educational events where HLP members and the public LGBTQ+ community can learn from others in the Rubber Culture.
